It is a tiny, flat, reddish-brown insect classified in the Order Hemiptera, Family Cimicidae. Females usually lay 1-5 eggs at a time and can lay up to 540 eggs per lifespan. Their growth cycle is incomplete metamorphosis, molt at all stages from egg to nymph to adult. Its stains often appear in the crevices of the beds, and bed bases, so it's not difficult to spot an outbreak. Bed bugs are active at night. It relies on the time when the person sleeps and releases carbon dioxide. This is what makes it easier for bed bugs to reach humans.
